MTI also specializes in temperature controlled cargoes, from frozen to fresh, bringing foods to market and market to tables around the world. At MTI, we partner with reliable drayage companies to complete intermodal moves to/from inland points in the US and abroad, ensuring chassis and equipment availability prior to each booking. We work daily with inland rail carriers and ramps, coordinating door delivery and pickup of your ocean cargo.

Customs Brokerages

The brokerage of MTI Worldwide Logistics utilizes the latest in technology, including ABI Customs Interface and remote filing. Our web based remote filing system allows MTI to interface with US Customs & Border Protection in any port around the United States, helping to ensure consistent classification and presentation of entries to U.S. Customs.

We also offer Import Consulting services, including assistance with informed compliance, harmonized tariff classification, import bonds and other regulatory requirements.
 

Customs Brokerage – MTI Worldwide Logistics offers in-house licensed customs brokerage services, including the preparation of documents and/or electronic submissions, the calculation and payment on duties, and taxes and licensing requirements.  We facilitate communication between government authorities and importers and exporters. MTI’s goal is ultimately to avoid costly delays or merchandise seizures due to improper classification and licensing. Through consultation, MTI Worldwide Logistics will identify importer requirements, assess the areas of strength and weakness, and develop a program specific to your commodity and your locale.
